Taiji Dolphin Slaughter Starting September 1st

Starting September 1st, a hunt for 2,000 dolphins will take place
in Taiji, Japan inside the infamous 'Cove'. These dolphins, found by Japan going through migration routes, are corralled by fisherman then sold to aquariums around the world, and then slaughtered inside a secret cove. This must be stopped. For more info, go to SaveJapanDolphins.org!

Anti-Whaling Day, Nov. 5, 2011... The Wake Up Call

It is October 23, and many people around the world are gearing up for the annual Anti-Whaling Day that will be taking part on November 5th, 2011. Some people view this as a day to celebrate because many organizations are working to stop the horrible practice of commercial whaling. Some will plan/attend protests at embassies across the continents.  But that's not how I see it... I view Anti-Whaling Day as a wake up call to those uneducated, and those with no worries (if any exist).
On the day that is known as Anti-Whaling Day, a storm of protests will be released in a fit of anger and sadness at those who kill the gentle giants. Every human being has the right to feel this in-contentment with others of their own species.. although how they express it is sometimes not the way that could be most effective. A persons first instinct to stop the condemned practice of commercial whaling, is to attend a protest or cause chaos for those who act our the practice. But I don't agree with this tactic; if someone were to call it that.
I believe the correct form of action, and the most effective form of action on this day would be to not attend protests... Not to cause havoc... But too educate those who don't know of the cruelty and injustice that is being brought to the whales. Educate those who have not in the slightest idea of the punishment being reaped for a crime undone. Knowledge is power, and we have the upper-hand. This is your plan for the day. This (in my view) should be the purpose of Anti-Whaling Day.
Hence me forwardly naming it.. the Wake Up Call. A time where all activists basically scream out "Wake Up World! Look Around You! Save These Gentle Giants!"

On this day, share your insight with friends, share your insight with family, share it with your neighbors, heck, share it with the local bagboy at the mini-mart! Spread your spirit and passion far and wide, long and high. It is time for the world to open their eyes and notice that this Earth is not what it used to be, or what it should be. It is our life source, and we are dimming the light of hope in saving it. It is time for youth to start taking action full of passion... Time for adults to help LEAD the youth in this time of war for the Earth and a time of sadness for its losses. A time to realize we do not rule the planet, but that we are guests who need to abide by the rules.
On November 5th, 2011 share your smarts. Educate others and bring them with us to the fight. Recruit others to join Neptune's Navy in the fight to save the Whales.... then maybe you can protest.

Occupy Wall Street, the Global Revolution, is Moving Forward #OWS

As the protest known as Occupy Wall Street is advancing to great lengths across America, police officials are beginning to defy the rights of the constitution and go against the protestors. The police in many cities/states are attempting to order protestors to stop and go home, therefore going against their rights in the U.S. Bill of Rights that states that citizens have the right to assemble regarding common interests or  to petition against the government for any grievances.

Despite the efforts of officials, the protestors state their rights and use it. They will (as the right allows them) protest and petition the government for the grievances in which it has brought upon them. If this is not enough, the police are also blocking the protestors of from certain areas (or attempting to) and are wrongfully stopping them and frisking them with no reason to. They are coming together in a peaceable (non-hostile) manner, and they are being frisked. Must be the governments petty and annoying way of going back at the occupiers.

Above all, a new uncompromising movement against NYPD's notorious Stop & Frisk program began yesterday as hundreds of demonstrators marched from the Harlem State Office Building to Harlem’s 28th precinct. At the station, Cornel West, author and Princeton professor, Carl Dix of the Revolutionary Communist Party, Rev. Stephen Phelps, interim senior minister of Riverside Church, and dozens of others were arrested in an act of non-violent civil disobedience. Following this the crowd chanted loudly , "We are serious and we will continue until we Stop Stop & Frisk! Stop & Frisk don’t stop the crime, Stop & Frisk IS the crime!"

Government officials and police officials are beginning to unlawfully take away the citizens rights. They do exactly what the protesters are against, just to stop the protest. This is when you know our country is circling the drain...

Finally! Utopia is closer than you think! #WeAreThe99%

You’ve said it. I’ve said it. We’ve all said that if all activists, everywhere, would concentrate on one issue at a time that we could claim victory after glorious victory. We have planeteers fighting for clean air, renewable energy or rain forest preservation. Utopians rally for the end of factory farming, fur, leather and Snapperfest. Ocean activists fight to stop whaling, shark finning, sealing and the slaughter of thousands of dolphins in Taiji, Japan. Human rights advocates want to feed the world, provide clean water or insure civil rights. Imagine if we all focused on one specific issue. There would be millions of us working together and our sheer numbers would accomplish miracles!
Whatever you passion, whatever your cause is, it can be remedied by getting your government on your side. You can save the planet, the animals and the people if only your government would lend you a voice! In the Academy Award winning documentary The Cove, we see how the Japanese government lies to its people. In A Fall From Freedom, we see how Seaworld has bought out politicians to manipulate the laws. In Forks Over Knives we learn how the government has lied to us for decades in the interest of corporations and the money that feeds greed. Everything goes back to big business and corrupt systems. If only we could get money out of politics, we could save the world!
Guess what! It’s happening! There are thousands around the world who are working to do this. They are not simply signing petitions and protesting. They are not making a documentary. They are not even on a hunger strike. Instead, they have planted themselves in public view and refuse to move until the problem is solved. They are “occupying” their cities!
The movement started with about a dozen people in New York City. Now there are thousands and it is growing. You may say, “Oh, well I am not into politics.” Well, neither am I and chances are, neither are they. We don’t want politics to be an issue when it comes to saving the air we breathe, innocent animals or our planet’s life blood: the oceans. That is exactly what the Occupy Wall Street movement has addressed in their Official Statement. See Video below . . .
Many of us are still in the flooding basement with our favorite buckets. We are attempting to toss the water out of the windows while someone else (Occupy Wall Street) has come along to fix the leak once and for all! We are still trying to pamper the symptoms while they are determined to cut out the cancer. We finally have a unified single cause that addresses everything we fight for. We finally have a specific solution that will rid this world of evil. Have you figured it out yet? It’s rather simple when you think about it. Revolution!
Join with me! Put down your buckets and support the revolution! Spread the word about Wall Street. Visit the occupied city nearest you and lend a hand. Donate food, water and supplies. If possible, join them in their occupation!
